  • Yes. If you want your WordPress entry to create a PhpBB topic with a different text than the default, just add a ‘msg’ custom field to the entry (with the desired text) before publishing it. If you want the topic to be created in a specific forum and not the default, add a ‘forum’ custom field to the entry with your desired forum ID. If you want the entry to be connected to an existing topic in the forum, just add a ‘topic’ custom field indicating the topic id.

I have accidentally deleted an autogenerated topic in PhpBB. How do I recreate it?

  • Simply edit the correspondent post/page in WordPress (the one that generated the PhpBB topic), scroll down to the ‘Custom fields’ and delete the ‘topic’ field. Then save the post/page. This will recreate the PhpBB topic.
